THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES
IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
HARVEY...NORTHERN SEDGWICK
AT 8:00 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF SEDGEWICK COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS PRODUCING
THREE QUARTER INCH HAIL AT MOUNT HOPE.
THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 5 MILES AN HOUR.
IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A
REINFORCED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LA5RGE HAIL...
VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND LIGHTNING.
