FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST TEXAS
 
   ...EASTERN HOUSTON COUNTY...TRINITY COUNTY
 
THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 1000 PM CDT BECAUSE
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO REDEVELOPE OVER HOUSTON AND TRINITY
COUNTIES. SATELLITE AND RADAR INDICATE BETWEEN 4 AND 7 INCHES OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN OVER SOUTHEAST HOUSTON COUNTY AND BETWEEN 3 AND 7.3 INCHES
HAS FALLEN OVER TRINITY COUNTY. FLOODING WILL CONTINUE IN THESE AREAS
FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE RAINS HAVE DECREASED.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STJAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
