FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS
 
   ...WESTERN POLK COUNTY
 
A AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS HAS BEEN PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER
WESTERN POLK COUNTY FOR THE PAST FEW HOURS. RADAR AND SATELLITE
INDICATE BETWEEN 3 AND 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE AREA.
 
THE POLK COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT REPORTED IN THE ONALASKA AREA
HIGHWAY 356 HAS THREE FOOT OF WATER OVER THE ROAD.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HAR#DER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
