THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      NORTHEAST BUFFALO...WESTERN HALL

AT 716 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR IN THE
NORTHEAST PORTION OF KEARNEY COUNTY NEBRASKA...OR 5 MILES TO THE
EAST SOUTHEAST OF KEARNEY NEBRASKA.  THIS STORM HAS PRODUCED LARGE
HAIL...UP TO GOLFBALL SIZE...IN KEARNEY COUNTY NEBRASKA...AND
MINDEN HAD HAIL PEA TO MARBLE SIZE COVERINIG THE GROUND AT 714
PM.  THIS STORM IS MOVING TOWARD THE SHELTON AND WOOD RIVER AREA.
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING

PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD GET INTO A REINFORCED SHELETER AND
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
