THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      AUDRAIN...

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      NORTHERN CALLAWAY...

AT 1135 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHEAST
OF COLUMBIA MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. MAJOR
DAMAGE TO HOMES AND COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES OCCURRED WITH THIS
THUNDERSTORM AS IT MOVES THROUGH COLUMBIA AT 1120 AM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  MOVE INSIDE UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER...
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTL!E OR NO WARNING.
