THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1200 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      BOONE

AT 1105 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
COLUMBIA MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. THIS
THUNDERSTORM WILL PASS THROUGH THE COLUMBIA AREA BY 1120 AM.

PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  STAY OFF OF THE
TELEPHONE UNLESS FOR EMERGENCY.  DO NOT USE ELECTICAL APPLIANCES
UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER...
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING.
