THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI
      SOUTHERN HOWARD...NORTHERN COOPER

AT 1040 AM A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS 5 MILES WIDE
EXTENDED FROM 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF COLUMBIA NEAR FAYETTE
TO 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF COLUMBIA NEAR TIPTON MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
MOVE THROUGH THE COLUMBIA AREA BETWEEN 1115 AND 1130.

DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY
RAIN ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.  STAY INSIDE AND...
AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORMS PASS.
