IN CENTRAL NEW YORK

   ...SCHUYLER COUNTY...TOMPKINS COUNTY

CONTINUED HEAVY RAIN HAS CAUSED LOCALIZED FLOODING OVER ROADWAYS.
COUNTY ROAD 13 IN CAYUTA AND ROAD 30 IN READING...BOTH IN
SCHUYLER COUNTY...HAVE WATER OVER THE ROADWAY.

IN TOMPKINS COUNTY WATER IS REPORTED COVERING THE ROAD ALONG ROUTE 79
IN SLATERVILLE...ALONG ROUTE ROUTE 13 IN NEWFIELD...AND SECTIONS OF
ROUTE 96B.

VARIOUS SECONDARY ROADS THROUGHOUT THE AREA ARE EXPERIENCING FLOODING
CONDITIONS.



DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
