THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      EXTREME WESTERN CHERRY

AT 810 PM MDT A TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 50 MILES NORTHWEST
OF MULLEN NEBRASKA IN THE EXTREME WEST PART OF CHERRY COUNTY OF
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 5 MPH.

THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM...PLEASE TAKE COVER IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  ABANDON
CARS AND MOBILE HOMES.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  AS A LAST RESORT...TAKE SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR
LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN ARE LIKELY WITH
THIS STORM...IN ADDITION TO THE THREAT OF TORNADOES.

AFTER THE THREAT OF THE TORNADO PASSES...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE THE POSSIBILITY OF FLASH FLOODING.
