EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      EXTREME WESTERN CHERRY

AT 648 PM MDT A TORNADO WAS ALONG THE SHERIDAN COUNTY OF THE
NORTHEAST PANHANDLE AND EXTREME WEST CHERRY OF NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA LINE...OR 50 TO 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF MULLEN NEBRASKA AND
WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH.

TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  ABANDON
CARS AND MOBILE HOMES.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  AS A LAST RESORT...TAKE SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR
LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN ARE LIKELY WITH
THIS STORM...IN ADDITION TO THE THREAT OF TORNADOES.
