THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1250 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...SHANNON...HOWELL AND SOUTHERN TEXAS

AT 1150 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM
HOUSTON IN CENTRAL TEXAS COUNTY TO WEST PLAINS IN CENTRAL HOWELL
COUNTY MOVING TO THE EAST AT 40 MILES PER HOUR. THESE THUNDER-
STORMS WILL AFFECT THE CITIES OF CABOOL WILLOW SPRINGS AND WEST
PLAINS.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD LOW AREAS.

PEOPLE OUTDOORS..IN RECREATION AREAS OR AMUSEMENT PARKS SHOULD
SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.

CAMPERS ALONG CREEKS AND STREAMS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

IF THREATNING  WEATHER APPROACHES..YOU SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE
IMMEDIATELY AND RELAY YOUR SEVERE WEATHER REPORT TO THE NEAREST
LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
