THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
          ...WESTERN TODD...EASTERN TRIPP
POSSIBLE CITIES EFFECTED ARE HIDDEN TIMBER AND WITTEN.
 
 
AT 540 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE EAST PART OF
MELLETTE AND THE EAST PART OF TODD COUNTY IN SOUTHCENTAL SOUTH
DAKOTA. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MPH. SEVERE WEATHER
HAS BEEN REPORTED FROM THESE STORMS EARLIER THIS AFTERNON.
 
 
THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
