1150 AM CDT THU JUL 9 1987

...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN OVER SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...
NORTHWEST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...

AT 1145 PM CDT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING
OVER SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTHWEST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA.
THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED 25 MILES NORTHEAST OF SIOUX
FALLS...JUST WEST OF HARDWICK MINNESOTA AND 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
SIOUX FALLS NEAR HULL IOWA. THESE INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PART
OF A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE IN A 100 MILE
AREA FROM CLARKFIELD MINNESOTA TO RANDOLPH NEBRASKA. ALL THE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL AND
WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH. PEOPLE THROUGHOUT SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...
NORTHWEST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA ARE ADVISED TO BE ALERT TONIGHT.
