EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 AM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
 
EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI... LINCOLN
                                                                         
AT 510 AM RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 20 MILES WEST OF TROY 
MISSOURI MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH. 
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS THUNDERSTORM GET TO A REINFORCED 
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG...DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...

...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM PARTS OF SOUTHWEST TO EAST
CENTRAL MISSOURI UNTIL 7 AM...AND A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS POSTED
FOR MOST OF SOUTHWEST...CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI TODAY...

AT 405 AM CDT...RADAR SHOWED A SMALL CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
IN CENTRAL MISSOURI BETWEEN KINGDOM CITY AND JEFFERSON CITY MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.  THESE STORMS HAVE WEAKENED SINCE PRODUCING
SCATTERED WIND DAMAGE EARLIER THIS MORNING WEST OF JEFFERSON CITY
AND THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS.

THE STRONG STORMS IN THE CENTER OF THE STATE WERE PART OF A MUCH
LARGER AREA OF RAIN...SOME HEAVY...THAT STRET\CHED FROM WEST CENTRAL
MISSOURI...INTO NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI.  NEW RAIN
SHOWERS WERE DEVELOPING OVER PARTS OF THE OZARKS REGION OF SOUTH
CENTRAL MISSOURI AT 405 AM.
