EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED OVER LAKE LANIER JUST WEST OF
GAINESVILLE. LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS INDCATED.
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING, PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A

MAIN FORMING AREA HAS BEEN FROM ATHENS NORTHWESTWARD. SEVERE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS EXPECTED ALONG WITH BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS.. PERSONS SHOULD SEEK SHELTER AWAY FROM THE STORMS AS THEY FORM NEAR THEM. BOATERS SHOULD BE VERY ALERT TO ANY FORMING CLOUDS IN THEIR AREA.
