AT 530 PM CDT...VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN NORTHWEST MISSOURI
AND EASTCENTRAL KANSAS.

THE STRONGEST STORMS IN MISSOURI WERE LOCATED JUST TO THE NORTHEAST
AND EAST OF ST JOSEPH..IN EASTERN ANDREW AND CENTRAL DE KALB COUNTIES.
THE STORMS HAD A HISTORY OF 50 MILE AN HOUR WINDS AND 1/2 INCH HAIL.
THE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHERN GENTRY AND NORTHWEST DAVIESS
COUNTIES BY 630 THIS EVENING.

IN KANSAS..THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
TOPEKA AND JUST EAST OF MANHAT)TAN. THESE STORMS WILL CONTAIN VERY
HEAVY RAINS..SOME HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

AT 630 PM CDT A LINE OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT
40 MILES TO THE WEST OF KANSAS CITY.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD
THE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD ENTER THE WESTERN PORTIONS
OF THE METRO AREA WITHIN THE NEXT 30 TO 45 MINUTES.

TH=ESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS...HAIL...AND PERIODS OF
VERY HEAVY RAIN AS THEY MOVE THROUGH THE KANSAS CITY AREA.

AT 700 PM CDT A LINE OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN THE
WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE KANSAS CITY METRO AREA.  THIS LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS HAS PRODUCED WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH IN JOHNSON COUNTY
KANSAS DURING THE PAST 30 MINUTES.

THESE STORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST ABOUT 35 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE
THROUGH THE KANSAS CITY AREA IN ABOUT ONE HOUR.  THESE STORMS WILL
PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...SOME HAIL AND PERIODS OF VERY HEAVY RAIN AS THESE
MOVE THROUGH THE METRO AREA.
