000 TTAA00 KCYS 132236 TORCYS WYC015-132300- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 430 PM MDT FRI JUN 13 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS IUSSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING..SOUTH HALF OF GOSHEN THIS INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF HAWK SPRINGS AND LA GRANGE. AT 410 PM A TORNADO WAS SIGHTED BY THE PUBLIC 10 MILES EAST OF SLATER ON THE PLATTE AND GOSHEN COUNTY LINE. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING IN A NORTH TO NORTHEAST DIRECTION AND INTO SOUTHEN GOSHEN COUNTY. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. TO REPORT ANY SEVERE WEATHER CONTACT YOUR NEAREST LAW ENFO+RCEMENT AGENCY. SIGLER

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 150 PM MDT FRI JUN 13 1986 A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST WYOMING UNTIL 8 PM. AT 145 PM...WEATHER RADAR AT CHEYENNE SHOWED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE BUILDING IN MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED OVER THE LARAMIE MOUNTAINS ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF LARAMIE. OTHER STRONG STORMS WERE LOCATED IN NORTHERN PLATTE COUNTY ABOUT 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF DOUGLAS NEAR THE TOWN OF WENDOVER. YET ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS LOCATED JUST EAST OF SEMINOE RESERVOIR ABOUT 35 MILES NORTHEAST OF RAWLINS. ALL STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. NO REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER HAVE BEEN RECEIVED SO FAR AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SCOTTSBLUFF NE 405 PM MDT FRI JUN 13 1986 A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS FRIDAY EVENING FOR PEOPLE IN THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE. AT 4PM MDT A HEAVY THUNDERSTORM HAD MOVED INTO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SOIUX COUNTY NEBRASKA OR 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF SCOTTSBLUFF NEBRASKA. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINS ALONG WITH POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. PERSONS IN SOUTHERN SIOUX AND NORTHERN SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTIES SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THIS STORM. OTHER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED INTO THE WEST PART OF THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AT 4PM MDT. < OTHER STRONG STORMS REMAINED IN EXTREME EASTERN WYOMING TO THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF SCOTTSBLUFF NEBRASKA.
