SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 150 PM MDT FRI JUN 13 1986 A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST WYOMING UNTIL 8 PM. AT 145 PM...WEATHER RADAR AT CHEYENNE SHOWED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE BUILDING IN MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED OVER THE LARAMIE MOUNTAINS ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF LARAMIE. OTHER STRONG STORMS WERE LOCATED IN NORTHERN PLATTE COUNTY ABOUT 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF DOUGLAS NEAR THE TOWN OF WENDOVER. YET ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS LOCATED JUST EAST OF SEMINOE RESERVOIR ABOUT 35 MILES NORTHEAST OF RAWLINS. ALL STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. NO REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER HAVE BEEN RECEIVED SO FAR AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. ANY ONE OF THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE STRONG WINDS...SMALL HAIL...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINS...SO BE ON THE ALERT AND KEEP AN EYE ON THE SKY. DASELER
