000 TTAA00 KCYS 132153 TORCYS WYC015-031-132230- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 350 PM MDT FRI JUN 13 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS IUSSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING..SOUTH HALF OF PLATTE AND SOUTH HALF OF GOSHEN THIS INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF CHUGWATER...HAWK SPRINGS AND LA GRANGE. AT 347 PM A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS SIGHTED BY A SHERIFFS DEPUTY AT SLATER... IN SOUTHERN PLATTE COUNTY. THE ASSOCIATED THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST ABOUT 25 MPH. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 150 PM MDT FRI JUN 13 1986 A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST WYOMING UNTIL 8 PM. AT 145 PM...WEATHER RADAR AT CHEYENNE SHOWED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE BUILDING IN MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED OVER THE LARAMIE MOUNTAINS ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF LARAMIE. OTHER STRONG STORMS WERE LOCATED IN NORTHERN PLATTE COUNTY ABOUT 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF DOUGLAS NEAR THE TOWN OF WENDOVER. YET ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS LOCATED JUST EAST OF SEMINOE RESERVOIR ABOUT 35 MILES NORTHEAST OF RAWLINS. ALL STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. NO REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER HAVE BEEN RECEIVED SO FAR AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. ANY ONE OF THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE STRONG WINDS...SMALL HAIL...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINS...SO BE ON THE ALERT AND KEEP AN EYE ON THE SKY. DASELER
