THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 440 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

WESTERN NEW YORK... WYOMING

AT 330 PM...BUFFALO WEATHER RADAR SHOWED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM OVER
EXTREME NORTHEAST CATTARAUGUS COUNTY.  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING
EAST NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH AND SHOULD MOVE OVER WYOMING COUNTY WITHIN THE
NEXT HOUR.

NICKEL SIZED HAIL WAS REPORTED AT FIVE POINTS..JUST NORTH OF LITTLE
VALLEY NEW YORK.

BE ON THE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTN|ING
STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.  LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO
CAUSE DRAINAGE FLOODING.
