THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
 
WESTERN NEW YORK... CHAUTAUQUA                                           
                                                                         
AT 245 PM...BUFFALO WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORM JUST 
EAST OF ERIE PENNSYLVANIA.  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH 
AND SHOULD REACH SOUTHERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY DURING THE NEXT HOUR. 
                                                                         
BE ON THE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTNING      
STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.  LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO       
CAUSE DRAINAGE FLOODING.                                              ^
