- Lightning Started two fires in unit 6 at McFaddin NWR. The unit 6 Strike #2 became part of this fire. Fire crews back fired off of HWY 87, a home and a VOR station and secured the perimeter of the fire. Direst attact was not an option due to Heavy fuel
