From Sinnamahoning to Keating, this F1 tornado ran 5.0 miles across Cameron and Clinton counties on May 31, 1998, touching down at 8:10 PM EDT and reaching 50 yards wide. It killed nobody.

    Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.

The storm moved southeast along Sinnemahoning Creek and Route 120 crossing into Clinton County, before ending along Montour Road. Trees were blown over or tops were damaged along the path, but no damage was noted to homes in the area.
