- Winter Storm and Wildfire in Utah, April 14 to 16, 2015A strong and windy storm system moved through Utah beginning April 14, and the winds caused widespread damage across the state. This damage included a fatal pileup accident on Interstate 80 and a destructive wildfire in central Utah that was fueled by the winds.
- Wildfire in Utah, June 29 to 30, 2007The Neola North Fire ignited during a period of hot and very dry conditions resulting in explosive fire growth. The blaze began in Duchesne County and quickly spread into Uintah County.

- Wildfire in Utah, June 29 to 30, 2007Massive Fire began June 29th near Neola, Utah and quicky spread due to extremely dry fuels and favorable weather conditions. Three civilian fatalities resulted from this fire. Over 40,000 acres had burned by July 4th.

- Wildfire in Utah, July 19 to 20, 2016On July 19, an arsonist intentionally set fire to a field in Tooele. Fanned by strong wind gusts, the fire was pushed to a nearby neighborhood, destroying and damaging several homes.
- Wildfire in Utah, July 15 to 20, 1997Lightning started a wildfire (the Flat Fire) on Poverty Flat about 3 miles south of Monroe late in the afternoon on the 15th. The fire spread rapidly across 6000 acres that evening in very dry sage and pinyon/juniper due to strong thunderstorm winds.
