- Flash Flooding and Heavy Rain in Utah, July 27, 1998Flash flooding killed 2 California hikers in the Narrows of Zion National Park. Flash flooding occurred again on the Canal Canyon Creek just south of Spring City causing even more damage.

- Flash Flood and Heavy Rain in Utah, July 24, 1998More flooding occurred just south of Spring City as monsoon thunderstorm rains continued in Utah. Both Canal Canyon Creek and Oak Creek experienced flash flooding. Several families had to be evacuated and their homes were flooded.
- Hail and Heavy Rain in Utah, June 7, 1998Severe thunderstorms with hail, heavy downpours and strong winds ripped through Utah county. Homes were flooded in the Orem area. Several funnel clouds were spotted in the Provo area. A roof collapsed on a health club due to the winds and heavy rain.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Utah, June 10, 1997On this date an upper level low pressure system caused an outbreak of severe weather across the state. There were numerous reports of large hail. With a few severe thunderstorms microburst winds and flash flooding also occurred.
- High Wind and Heavy Rain in Utah, September 25 to 26, 1997As the remnants of Hurricane Nora collapsed over southwest Utah, high winds and heavy rain occurred. In the higher elevations approximately 400 trees were downed in the Dixie National Forest, Brian Head Ski Resort and Cedar Breaks National Monument.
- Flash Flood and Heavy Rain in Utah, August 2 to 3, 2007Heavy rains brought flooding to parts of the Salt Lake Valley. A number of homes had water in basements and nearby parks were flooded.
- Tornado and Heavy Snow in Utah, June 4 to 5, 1998A storm caused mountain snow and valley rain in northern Utah. From .75-1.5" of rain fell along the Wasatch Front with several homes in Weber and Davis county experiencing flood damage. 13" of snow fell at the Snowbird Ski Resort.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Utah, May 21, 1998Severe thunderstorms ripped through the Wasatch Front on this date. Heavy rains combined with the spring runoff and caused flooding in Davis county during the morning hours. Several homes experienced basement and yard flooding from the 1-1.5" of rain that fell in the area.
- Heavy Snow and Hail in Utah, May 8, 1998Heavy rains combined with the spring runoff and caused flooding in several homes in Weber county. From .75-1.5" of rain fell in the area in 2 hours time. 5" of snow was reported in the southwest mountains.
- Flash Flood and Heavy Rain in Utah, July 22, 2008Heavy rain from thunderstorms produced flooding and flash flooding across portions of eastern Utah.
- Heavy Rain in Utah, June 13 to 16, 1998Heavy rains (about an inch) caused flood damage this morning in both Salt Lake and Utah counties.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Utah, September 11 to 12, 2025The period between the 11th and 13th of September had a relatively unique meteorological setup for western Colorado and eastern Utah.
- Heavy Rain in Utah, July 28, 1998Heavy rain fell in the Green River area and caused flooding in the area. The spotter there measured 1.05" of rain in 45 minutes and reported basement flooding in several homes.
- Heavy Rain in Utah, July 25, 1998Monsoon rains continued to cause minor flooding across Utah. Several homes in Weber county experienced basement flooding as 1-2" of rain fell in the morning. Minor flooding was also reported in Capitol Reef National Park and across Highway 89 near Mountain Green in the afternoon.
- Heavy Rain in Utah, August 5, 2013Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall converged on the Monticello area during the late morning hours. Localized urban flooding was noted as drainage systems struggled to handle the runoff.

- Heavy Snow and Heavy Rain in Utah, April 23 to 25, 2005A warm moist flow from the subtroics brought widespread non-severe thunderstorms to the state. Small hail was reported in numerous locations in the Salt Lake and Tooele Valleys in addition to heavy rain fall.
- Flash Flood and Debris Flow in Utah, April 27 to 29, 2005Heavy rains and snowmelt brought flooding to northern Utah. A slow-moving landslide in the early hours of April 29th stopped just short of some townhouses in the Cedar Hills section of Utah County...no damage to the homes occurred.
