- Blizzard and Ice Storm in Texas, December 28 to 31, 2006A strong and vigorous upper low moved across the Rockies and produced heavy snow and blizzard conditions along with freezing rain to the western and central Texas panhandle.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Texas, February 1 to 4, 2011The first week of February 2011 was plagued with two winter weather events and persistent cold temperatures. The first winter storm began late on January 31st and ended during the morning hours of February 1st.
- Extreme Cold and Heavy Snow in Texas, February 14 to 17, 2021A historic outbreak of arctic air resulted in record breaking cold temperatures during an extreme cold spell that lasted almost two weeks for some locations across the combined Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Texas, November 16, 2014Following maximum temperatures in the 60s and 70s on the 15th, a strong cold front and upper trough brought a wintry blast to the entire South Plains region by the morning of the 16th.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Texas, March 4 to 5, 2015A potent winter storm produced several rounds of winter weather on the 4th and 5th of March. Up to 4 inches of snow were reported in some areas of north Texas, along with a batch of sleet and freezing rain before the snow.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Texas, March 20 to 21, 2010The last snow event of the memorable winter season of 2009-2010 occurred on the night of March 20th. The highest storm total snowfall was 8 inches in Collin County where a narrow band of heavy snow persisted through much of the night.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Texas, February 11 to 12, 2010A record snowfall fell across north Texas beginning the early morning hours of February 11th and continuing until the early morning hours of the 12th. Four climate data records for snow at DFW Airport were broken during this event including the highest 24-hour snowfall total.
- Heavy Snow in Texas, December 25 to 27, 2000A strong storm system in the upper atmosphere moved from the four corners region into southwestern New Mexico and then moved slowly into west Texas producing heavy snowfall across all of the Texas panhandle.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Texas, February 22 to 23, 2010A winter storm brought heavy snow and deadly travel conditions to the South Plains of west Texas during the 22nd and 23rd.
- Heavy Snow in Texas, January 9, 2011Three to seven inches of snow fell across the northeastern portions of north Texas in a region primarily east of Interstate 35 and north of Interstate 30. The highest totals occurred in Lamar, Delta, Hopkins, and Hunt County.
- Heavy Snow in Texas, February 23, 2010An upper level disturbance moved through north Texas with the best lift south of Interstate 20. The precipitation initially began as rain, but as colder temperatures filtered into the region, the rain transitioned to snow.

One person died in an accident on Interstate 20 in Parker County and a 15 vehicle-accident was also caused by slick roads in Collin County.
- Heavy Snow and Hail in Texas, December 25, 2012A strong upper level system and cold front first brought hail-producing thunderstorms to the region, then a winter weather event that included snow and sleet. The storms produced lots of pea sized hail and occasionally slightly larger hail.

- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Texas, February 3 to 4, 2010A winter storm approached the Texas Panhandle and produced heavy snow across mainly the northwest section of the Texas Panhandle. One person was killed in the central Texas Panhandle in a single car automobile accident.
