- Tropical Storm and Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, August 27 to 30, 2011Irene produced heavy flooding rain, tropical storm force wind gusts with hundreds of thousands of outages, moderate tidal flooding along the Delaware River and one flooding related death in Eastern Pennsylvania over the weekend of August 27th and 28th.
- Storm Surge and Flash Flood in Pennsylvania, September 18 to 19, 2003Tropical Storm Isabel produced strong power outage producing winds, moderate tidal flooding along the Delaware River and stream flooding in Chester County. Isabel made landfall as a hurricane near Drum Inlet, North Carolina around 100 p.m.
- Tropical Storm and Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, September 6, 2008Tropical Storm Hanna brought heavy rain throughout eastern Pennsylvania and strong winds in southeastern Pennsylvania as well as some minor tidal flooding along the lower Delaware River on the 6th.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, March 14 to 15, 1997Southwest to west gale force winds up to 40 knots, combined with recent high water levels on Lake Erie and waves of six to nine feet, forced the park to close Friday night through Saturday afternoon.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, May 1, 1997West winds of up to 30 to 40 knots and waves of 11 to 14 feet caused considerable flooding and beach erosion.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, September 19 to 20, 2004The combination of runoff from the heavy rain that fell upstream in the Delaware River and the incoming high tide produced minor tidal flooding along the Delaware River and tidal parts of its tributaries during the late afternoon high tide on both the 19th and 20th.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, December 11, 2003The combination of runoff from the heavy rain during the first half of the day on the 11th, higher than normal tides from the recent full moon and a southeasterly flow into Delaware Bay and the Delaware River caused tidal flooding along the Delaware River and tidal sections of…
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, January 3, 2003The combination of a high pressure system over nearby Canada and a low pressure system that moved along the Eastern Seaboard and spring astronomical tides caused by the new moon produced widespread minor tidal flooding along the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributary…
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, December 24, 2003The combination of spring astronomical tides because of the recent new moon, a south to southeast flow into Delaware Bay and the Delaware River and runoff from heavy rain during the morning caused minor tidal flooding along the Delaware River and tidal sections of its…
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, November 24, 2003The combination of spring astronomical tides associated with the new moon and a weak southeast flow caused by an approaching cold front from the west in conjunction with a high pressure system over the nearby Atlantic Ocean produced minor tidal flooding along the Delaware River.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, December 14, 2003The circulation around a low pressure system moving northeast along the Eastern Seaboard and a high pressure system which begrudgingly moved away from New England produced onshore flow during the day on the 14th.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, March 21, 2003The combination of southeast winds up the Delaware Bay and runoff from heavy rain produced minor tidal flooding around the time of the early morning (21st) high tide along the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributaries.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, October 29, 2003The combination of higher than normal astronomical tides (New moon was just a couple of days earlier.), runoff from the heavy rain and a low pressure system that moved east of New Jersey produced minor tidal flooding along the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributaries…
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, December 11, 2004The combination of an onshore flow into Delaware Bay, run-off from the rain and spring tides associated with the new moon caused minor tidal flooding during the mid-day high tide cycle on the 11th along the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributaries.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, September 30, 2004The combination of the runoff from the heavy rain from the remnants of Hurricane Jeanne and the spring tides associated with the full moon caused minor tidal flooding during the high tide cycles on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributaries…
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, November 28, 2004The combination of a southeasterly flow preceding a cold front, spring tides associated with the full moon and run-off from the heavy rain produced minor tidal flooding during the afternoon high tide on the 28th along the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributaries.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, March 29, 2005The combination of runoff from the heavy rain, the funneling of water into Delaware Bay and higher than normal astronomical tides coming off the full moon produced minor tidal flooding at the times of high tide early in the morning on the 29th.
- Storm Surge in Pennsylvania, October 13 to 14, 2005A persistent onshore flow for nearly a week caused higher than normal tides and this culminated with minor tidal flooding during the evening high tide on the 13th along the Delaware River.
