- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 14 to 29, 2003A cold frontal passage on the 13th initiated about a two week run of unseasonably cold weather, even by January standards across Eastern Pennsylvania. There were four cold related deaths in Southeastern Pennsylvania. All were found in unheated homes.
- Extreme Cold and Cold in Pennsylvania, February 19 to 20, 2015The arrival of another arctic air mass brought some of the lowest wind chills and temperatures of the winter season to Pennsylvania 20th and 21st and was responsible for three cold related deaths.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 17 to 20, 1997The coldest air mass of the winter season moved into Eastern Pennsylvania on Friday the 17th. The high pressure system came straight from the arctic tundra and moved southeast reaching the Middle and South Atlantic States on the 19th and 20th.
- Extreme Cold and Cold in Pennsylvania, January 20 to 22, 2025An area of departing surface low-pressure coupled with an enhanced upper-level trough dipping down across the eastern United States allowed for an extended period of cold air across central Pennsylvania beginning January 20, 2025.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 18, 2005An unseasonably cold air mass that originated in Siberia poured across the Middle Atlantic States on the 18th.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 9 to 11, 2004An arctic air mass brought some of the coldest weather in years to Eastern Pennsylvania from the evening of the 9th through the morning of the 11th. It also claimed the lives of two Philadelphia residents.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, February 5 to 6, 2015A new arctic air mass following the passage of a cold front caused two people to die from hypothermia in the local Philadelphia area on the 5th. In Philadelphia, a 68-year-old man was found dead in his unheated home.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, April 9 to 11, 1997An unseasonably cold air mass from Canada moved across Pennsylvania from April 9th through the 11th. The cold weather did an estimated $25 million dollars in damage to the peach and apple crops in the state.
- Extreme Cold and Cold in Pennsylvania, February 15, 2015The combination of strong to high winds and an approaching arctic air mass produced wind chill factors as low as around 25 degrees below zero in the Poconos and around 15 to 20 degrees below zero elsewhere in Eastern Pennsylvania during the morning of the 15th.
- Extreme Cold and Cold in Pennsylvania, February 15 to 16, 2015The near arrival of the center of the arctic air mass brought some of the lowest wind chills and temperatures of the winter season to Eastern Pennsylvania.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 15 to 16, 2004Following the departing Alberta Clipper low pressure system, another arctic air mass invaded Pennsylvania. While temperatures were slightly higher than the previous outbreak on the 10th and 11th, winds were stronger and the wind chill factors were lower.

- Cold in Pennsylvania, April 9 to 11, 1997Warm, sunny weather during the preceding week forced many trees into early bloom, then temperatures fell into the 20's and 30's overnight on the 9th and 10th. Unusually cold temperatures caused significant damage to fruit trees across south central Pennsylvania.

- Cold in Pennsylvania, November 28 to 29, 2002Unseasonably cold weather for November claimed the life of a homeless man in Norristown. He was found dead in a stairwell outside of the Montgomery County Court House. The morning low in Pottstown was 20 degrees on the 28th and 24 degrees on the 29th.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 25, 2004The unseasonably cold weather claimed a third victim in Philadelphia. A 60-year-old man was found dead in his unheated North Philadelphia home on the 25th. The low temperature at the Philadelphia International Airport on the 25th was 8 degrees.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, February 6, 2006An 87-year-old woman died of hypothermia during the morning of the 6th in the Hatboro section of Upper Moreland Township. The woman fell down and was unable to rise. She succumbed to the cold overnight. The overnight low at the Willow Grove NAS was 31 degrees.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, February 3 to 4, 2015The unseasonably cold weather in Berks County claimed the life of one woman. An 89-year-old woman was found dead on the night of the 3rd in Bernville (Berks County) at the bottom of a four foot embankment outside of her home on Penn Valley Road.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, December 22 to 23, 2024Cold temperatures were observed across portions of southwestern Pennsylvania, beginning on December 22, 2024 and continuing into the afternoon hours of December 23.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, February 2 to 5, 1996Bitter cold arctic air dropped overnight low temperatures well below zero. Daytime high temperatures were only in the single digits. Wind gusts of 25 mph on the 2nd and 5th dropped wind chills to 40 below zero at times.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 15 to 16, 2004A deep low pressure system in southeast Canada combined with a large area of high pressure in the province of Ontario, Canada to create northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph across the area. This high pressure system also ushered in below zero temperatures.
- High Wind and Winter Weather in Pennsylvania, December 23 to 24, 2022A low pressure system rapidly intensified December 22nd to December 23rd as the center of the low moved from the Midwest across the Great Lakes. A flash freeze, strong wind gusts, and dangerously cold temperatures were recorded across the region.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 10, 2004Arctic high pressure over central Ontario province, Canada brought northeast Pennsylvania record cold temperatures with temperatures below zero in most locations. This extreme cold air came in on north winds ahead of the high on the 9th and 10th.
- Cold in Pennsylvania, January 10 to 20, 1997Low temperatures were in the single digits or below zero across Northwest Pennsylvania, causing numerous water pipes to freeze and break. With wind chills of 40 to 50 below zero, many schools were forced to close.
