- Drought in Oregon, August 1, 1999Drought throughout the spring and early summer in the Columbia Basin and the Foothills of the Blue Mountains reduced yields of winter wheat, spring barley and peas.
- Drought in Oregon, September 1 to 30, 1999An almost complete lack of rainfall for the entire month of September has worsened a drought that has affected the Columbia Basin and the foothills of the Blue Mountains for much of the year.
- Drought in Oregon, July 1 to 31, 1999Drought, which started to develop early this year, greatly reduced the yields of green peas and winter wheat harvested this month in eastern Oregon. According the the Oregon Climate Service, rainfall for the Columbia Basin averaged 25 percent less than normal since last fall.
- Drought in Oregon, October 1 to 11, 2012A lack of rainfall from July into October caused pastures and stockwater ponds to dry up which affected livestock production. Supplemental water needed to hauled and calves were 50 pounds lighter than normal due to less feed.
