- Wildfire and High Wind in Oklahoma, November 27 to 30, 2005A strong surface low pressure moved across the southern and central Plains causing strong sustained surface winds across the western half to two-thirds of Oklahoma with some high wind gusts.
- High Wind and Strong Wind in Oklahoma, April 9, 2009A strong surface low pressure system moved across northern Oklahoma, a trailing cold front to the west and a dry line across the south. By early evening, the dry line was located over parts of central and southern Oklahoma.
- Strong Wind in Oklahoma, April 2, 2002Sustained wind speeds between 30 and 35 mph, with gusts near 50 mph, developed behind a strong cold front that pushed through the area.
- Strong Wind in Oklahoma, September 28, 2005A strong cold front moved across the Southern Plains during the day on September 28th causing gusty northerly winds in addition to a temperature drop of 10 to 15 degrees in a short period of time.

- Damaging Wind and Strong Wind in Oklahoma, May 3, 2021Very warm, moist, and humid air spread back north across East Texas, North Louisiana, Southwest Arkansas, and Southeast Oklahoma during the afternoon hours of May 3rd, along a strong southerly low level jet.
- Strong Wind in Oklahoma, December 9, 1997Gusty west and northwest gradient winds associated with a passing cold front lifted the roof from a pawn shop in Wewoka. Although the winds were sustained at 20 to 25 mph and gusting to only 30-35 mph at the time, the roof was lifted and flipped into an adjacent alley.
- Strong Wind in Oklahoma, June 28 to 29, 2003A strong thunderstorm over Beaver county about eight miles west and one and a half miles south of Slapout Oklahoma knocked out electricity and tree branches were blown off. Also...four big power line poles were blown down.
