- Wildfire and Dust Storm in Oklahoma, March 14 to 31, 2025An intense upper system produced a historic wildfire outbreak and synoptic windstorm across the WFO Norman Forecast Area on the 14th. As a note, the first, last and highest magnitude wind gusts are those included in this episode for a particular zone (county).
- Dust Storm in Oklahoma, April 27, 2014A cold front moved through the Oklahoma Panhandle during the early morning hours of the 27th. The strong winds behind the front lofted dirt into the air which led to isolated dust storm conditions.

A cold front moved quickly southward across the eastern Plains of Colorado and strong winds spread into the western and central Oklahoma Panhandle and the northern Texas Panhandle.
- Dust Storm in Oklahoma, August 23, 2007Winds of 35 to 40 mph blew sand and silt left over from massive flooding that occurred a few days before. Visibilities at times were near zero and SH 33 was almost impassable. The blowing dust lasted for a few hours before subsiding during the late afternoon hours.

- Dust Storm in Oklahoma, March 15, 2014A cold front moved through the Oklahoma Panhandle during the late afternoon hours of the 15th. The strong winds behind the front caused blowing dust to lower visibilities into the quarter mile to near zero range.
- Dust Storm in Oklahoma, January 15, 2021Very strong wind speeds aloft were able to mix down to the surface on January 15th. Wind gusts peaked around 60 MPH in the north and northeast combined OK and TX Panhandles between 10 AM and noon. Sustained winds reached 30 to 45 MPH across the entire combined Panhandles.
