- Flash Flooding and Flood in New York, June 19 to 20, 2007High pressure moved off the east coast ahead of an approaching cold front, allowing southwest winds to bring a flow of hot and humid air across the region.
- Tropical Storm and Flash Flooding in New York, August 28 to 31, 2011Tropical Storm Irene tracked north northeast across eastern New York and western New England during Sunday, August 28th, producing widespread flooding, and damaging winds across the region.

- Flood in New York, January 19 to 20, 1996An intense area of low pressure which was located over the Mid-Atlantic region on Friday morning January 19th produced unseasonably warm temperatures, high dewpoints and strong winds. This resulted in rapid melting of one to three feet of snow.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in New York, July 8 to 10, 1998Localized thunderstorms early in the morning of the 8th dropped three to five inches of rain across parts of Erie, Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston counties. Over five inches fell in just a few hours over much of Wyoming county.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in New York, October 31, 2019A strengthening low pressure system moving from Ohio to Lake Ontario drew anomalous warmth and moisture northward on Halloween, with temperatures surging into the 60s and 70s over eastern New York and western New England.
- Flood in New York, October 29, 2003The West Branch of the Delaware River in the town on Delhi went over its banks. About two miles upstream of the village of Delhi the river came onto Back River Road, also known as County Route 18.
- Flooding in New York, August 27 to 29, 2011Irene made landfall locally as a tropical storm around 900 am EDT August 28, 2011 over New York City. Irene then moved across Southeast New York and Western Connecticut before dissipating over Northern New England near the Canadian Border later that evening.
- Flooding and Strong Wind in New York, December 18 to 22, 2023An area of low pressure tracked up the East Coast and intensified in the process as it brought widespread moderate to heavy rainfall across eastern New York on December 18, 2023. Rainfall totals were between 2 and 5 inches with the highest amounts across the eastern Catskills.

- Flooding in New York, April 28 to 30, 2011After near record-setting spring rainfall, a warm front brought two to four inches of rain to the eastern Lake Ontario Region. The runoff resulted in flooding across the Black River basin, including the Black River and some of its major tributaries.

Prolonged torrential rains blanketed the region during the night and early morning hours before becoming enhanced by the approaching tropical remnants.

- Tornado and Flash Flooding in New York, November 16 to 18, 2006A strong low pressure system tracked northeast from Kentucky to western New York state during the daylight hours on Thursday the 16th.
- Tornadoes and Flood in New York, July 16, 2024The second of three days of hot and humid conditions continued across eastern New York on July 16, 2024. Heat index (feels-like temperatures) reached 95 to 104 degrees across much of the Mohawk and Hudson valleys.
- Flood in New York, June 27 to 30, 2006The communities of Bainbridge and Sidney were inundated with major flooding during this period The major source of jobs in the valley is the Amphenol Corporation. This plant closed due to 4 to 5 feet of water that damaged the plant.
