- Winter Weather in New Jersey, January 10, 2014A winter weather event dropped snow across northwest New Jersey and the Raritan Valley and a wintry mix that became predominately freezing rain across the rest of central Jersey as well as southwest New Jersey on the 10th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in New Jersey, March 16 to 17, 2007A nor'easter caused sleet to fall across the greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area and the Raritan Basin and heavy snow and sleet to fall across northwestern New Jersey. The nor'easter caused thousands of accidents and six known fatalities.

- Winter Weather in New Jersey, January 18, 2015Freezing rain at the onset of a protracted precipitation event helped cause hundreds of accidents across central and northern New Jersey on the morning into the mid afternoon of the 18th. New Jersey State Police alone responded to 428 accidents and 186 calls for assistance.

- Winter Storm and Heavy Rain in New Jersey, January 13 to 15, 1999A very protracted winter storm affected most of New Jersey from the 13th through the 15th. A combination of snow, sleet and heavy freezing rain fell across the region.

- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in New Jersey, December 15 to 16, 2007A strong area of high pressure was anchored over southeastern Canada on December 15th. This high gradually moved eastward during the day, however it wedged itself down into the Mid Atlantic region, which is known as cold air damming.
