- Wildfire in New Jersey, May 15 to 21, 2007A large forest fire consumed 15,550 acres of forest in Stafford and Barnegat Townships. About twenty-four square miles of forest was destroyed. The fire also destroyed five homes and significantly damaged fifty other homes.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, June 2 to 6, 2002A rapidly moving wildfire aided by strong gusty northwest winds burned about 1,300 acres of forest, destroyed or damaged about 30 permanent structures and caused a major traffic disruption for a Sunday (the 2nd) as the Garden State Parkway was closed for 12 hours.

- Wildfire in New Jersey, May 12, 2015A wildfire destroyed a home on Doremus Lane in Montague Township in Sussex County on the 12th. The wildfire started shortly after 530 p.m. EDT on the 12th.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, October 21 to 27, 2008The Sauder Ditch Wildfire, consumed about 1950 acres of forest before it was contained. The fire began in a secluded section of Wharton State Forest in Waterford Township (Camden County) close to 3 p.m. EDT on the 21st. This location is west of U.S.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, November 23 to 24, 2013The strong northwest winds, low humidity levels and unseasonably dry November helped rapidly spread wildfires in New Jersey on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 23 to 26, 2014The combination of strong gusty northwest winds, the lack of significant rain in over a week and low relative humidity levels helped several major wildfires spread quickly across the southern half of New Jersey on the 23rd and 24th. Containment was not reached until the 26th.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, March 14, 2006A wildfire totally engulfed a barn in East Amwell Township. An estimated three to seven horses died in the Black River Farm. Two fire fighters were injured fighting the blaze. One suffered a head injury, another had breathing difficulties.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, July 19 to 20, 1997The hot and unseasonably dry weather in July helped exacerbate wild fires throughout the state of New Jersey. To date the largest wild fire of the month started in the Wrangle Brook area of Manchester and Berkeley Townships in Ocean County around Noon EDT on the 19th.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, July 6 to 7, 2002A northerly flow of air through the lower half of the atmosphere pushed smoke from forest fires in northern Quebec across New Jersey. The smoke reduced visibilities and could be smelled from the afternoon of the 6th into the afternoon of the 7th.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 7 to 8, 2010Unseasonably warm and dry weather coupled with gusty southwest winds made it easy for wildfires to spread in New Jersey on the 7th. Two large wildfires occurred in Burlington and Sussex Counties.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, March 28, 2007A brush fire consumed about four acres of mainly underbrush in Rancocas State Park in Mount Laurel Township on the afternoon of the 28th at about 2 p.m. EST. The fire occurred near Spencer Memorial Field off of Rancocas Boulevard.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 6, 2015The combination of gusty south to southwest winds and drying conditions helped complicate the battling of a wildfire that occurred in Tewksbury Township (Hunterdon County) on the 6th.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, July 29 to 30, 1997The largest forest fire of the month blackened about 1,920 acres of the Wharton State Forest in Mullica and Hammonton Townships. One fire fighter suffered heat exhaustion. The fire started about 2.5 miles from the Totem Village in Mullica Township.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, November 6, 1997A 100 acre wild fire in Parsippany forced the evacuation of 354 students from the Troy Hills Elementary School and injured a fire fighter battling the blaze. The fire began about noon EST in the Troy Meadows Preserve in seven separate locations. Authorities suspected arson.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, March 14 to 15, 2021High fire danger conditions were in place across much of the mid-Atlantic on March 14, 2021. A series of cold fronts were in the process of moving through the region, all of which were moving through without producing any precipitation.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, February 19, 2011The combination of the strong west to northwest winds, low humidity levels and recent dry weather helped cause the rapid spread of wildfires across New Jersey during the day on the 19th. In all, ten wildfires, were reported across the state.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 29 to 30, 2000A forest fire began about 2 p.m. EDT in the vicinity of Hesstown Road and New Jersey State Route 49 in Maurice River Township and spread into the Peaslee Wildlife Management Area. The fire was exacerbated by the recent run of below normal rainfall and gusty northwest winds.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, March 23, 2009A series of brush fires occurred across New Jersey on the 23rd. Most were in the northern part of the state as the combination of strong north winds, low humidity levels and a very dry March made it easy for fires to spread rapidly.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 8 to 11, 2012The unseasonably dry weather coupled with strong winds helped quickly spread two wildfires on the 9th in central Burlington County. The South Park fire started just after Midnight EDT on the 9th in Woodland Township in Burlington County near South Park and Sooy Roads.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, March 26, 2012The combination of strong winds, low humidity levels and an unseasonably dry start to 2012 led to several wildfires throughout New Jersey on the 26th. The largest was a 25 to 30 acre brush fire behind the Raritan Center in Edison Township (Middlesex County).
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 30, 2001The unseasonably dry weather during the second half of April continued to make it easy for brush and wildfires to begin and then spread quickly. Three such wildfires occurred during the afternoon and evening on the 30th across central New Jersey.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, May 1, 2001The extremely dry and unseasonably warm weather of early May made New Jersey primed for wild and forest fires. In Burlington County in Bordentown Township, sparks from a passing train around 120 p.m.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 10 to 11, 2012About a dozen more wildfires started in New Jersey on the 10th as gusty west winds (most peak gusts 30 to 40 mph) and continued unseasonably dry weather helped them spread rapidly.
- Wildfire in New Jersey, April 7, 2012A large brush fire that consumed three acres occurred during the morning of the 7th near the Greenwood Forest Fire Tower in Lacey Township in Ocean County. The fire was extinguished before causing any hazard to property.
