- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, June 28 to 30, 2016The first monsoon moisture push of the season led to isolated thunderstorms on the 27th through the 29th, followed by a widespread severe weather and flash flooding outbreak on the 30th. The episode continued into July 2nd.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, September 1 to 2, 2023A push of monsoon moisture, which began in August, fueled thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert. Several produced flash flooding, and one produced hail.

- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Nevada, September 7 to 9, 2014A major surge of monsoon moisture aided by Hurricane Norbert just west of Baja California fueled an outbreak of thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. Widespread flash flooding occurred.

- Hail and Lightning Strike in Nevada, June 28, 2013A strong ridge of high pressure centered over Utah and eastern Nevada brought hot temperatures to western Nevada on the 28th. The heat set the stage for strong to severe thunderstorms with gusty winds over 50 mph and large hail in the Reno area.
