- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, June 28 to 30, 2016The first monsoon moisture push of the season led to isolated thunderstorms on the 27th through the 29th, followed by a widespread severe weather and flash flooding outbreak on the 30th. The episode continued into July 2nd.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, September 1 to 2, 2023A push of monsoon moisture, which began in August, fueled thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert. Several produced flash flooding, and one produced hail.

- Flash Flood in Nevada, July 8, 1999One of the worst flash flood events this century inundated the Las Vegas Valley damaging roads and buildings, sweeping away vehicles and bringing the entire city almost to a standstill from late morning through late afternoon.
- Flash Flooding in Nevada, September 11, 2012A low pressure system interacted with deep monsoon moisture to produce widespread thunderstorms and flash flooding. A few storms also produced severe weather.
- Flash Flood and Damaging Winds in Nevada, July 19 to 20, 1998Severe thunderstorms moved into the Las Vegas Valley and nearby Lake Mead bringing wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and heavy showers which dumped between 1.50 and 2.25 inches of rain overnight.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Wind in Nevada, August 21 to 22, 2012Another surge of monsoon moisture led to an outbreak of thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. A low pressure system further enhanced the storms on the 22nd.
- Flash Flooding and Dust Storm in Nevada, August 9 to 11, 2022Moist southeast flow fueled thunderstorms over southern Nevada. Several storms produced severe weather, and a few produced flash flooding.
- Flash Flood in Nevada, August 23, 2023The remnant moisture and circulation of North Atlantic Tropical Storm Harold fueled evening thunderstorms over the Las Vegas Valley which produced flash flooding.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, July 12 to 16, 2012A strong push of monsoon moisture fueled a five-day outbreak of thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. Numerous storms produced flash flooding and/or severe weather.
- Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds in Nevada, October 9 to 11, 2025The remnants of Pacific Hurricane Priscilla pushed tropical moisture into southern Nevada, fueling scattered thunderstorms. Several produced heavy rain and flash flooding, and a few produced severe weather.

- Flash Flooding and High Wind in Nevada, August 19 to 21, 2023Eastern Pacific Hurricane Hilary made landfall on the Baja Peninsula early on the morning of the 20th and reached Southern California as a tropical storm that afternoon.
- Flash Flood in Nevada, November 30, 2002A fast moving rain storm produced just over half an inch of rain over north Las Vegas. The runoff in the cities drainage system caused flash flooding which trapped four homeless men. One man drowned and another was injured.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Nevada, September 7 to 9, 2014A major surge of monsoon moisture aided by Hurricane Norbert just west of Baja California fueled an outbreak of thunderstorms over the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. Widespread flash flooding occurred.
- Flash Flooding and Dense Fog in Nevada, January 9 to 10, 2018A slow moving low pressure system pulled a plume of moisture over the Mojave Desert, resulting in unseasonably heavy rain and some flash flooding. The unusually humid conditions also led to patchy dense fog.
- Flash Flooding and Avalanche in Nevada, December 19 to 24, 2010A series of storms fueled by a tropical moisture tap pounded the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin for several days. Extremely heavy snow and widespread flooding resulted.
- Flash Flood and Flood in Nevada, January 4 to 6, 2008A powerful winter storm moved through the Sierra Nevada and western Nevada from January 4th through the 6th. Up to 10 feet of snow fell in the higher elevations of the Sierra with 1 to 2 feet in western Nevada.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Nevada, February 7 to 14, 2017Rain on a much above normal snow pack combined with frozen ground caused extensive flooding across northern Nevada, especially across Elko county.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Nevada, May 26 to 28, 2018A closed low slowly meandered across the Nevada from May 26th to the 28th, producing widespread showers and thunderstorms. The storms were slow movers, resulting in flash flooding across portions of the area.

- Flash Flood and Lightning Strike in Nevada, August 27, 2007A late-season surge of monsoon moisture was already in place when the remnant circulation of former Atlantic Hurricane Dean moved over southern Nevada during the pre-dawn hours of August 27th, resulting in major flooding.
- Flash Flooding and Dust Storm in Nevada, July 19 to 22, 2013A large push of monsoon moisture triggered an extended period of thunderstorms across the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. Many storms produced flash flooding and severe weather.
