- Dense Fog and Heavy Rain in Nevada, December 2 to 4, 2014A storm system brought rain and snow to much of the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin on the 2nd. The leftover moisture and colder air in the wake of the storm produced patchy dense fog on the 3rd and 4th.
- Flash Flooding and Dense Fog in Nevada, January 9 to 10, 2018A slow moving low pressure system pulled a plume of moisture over the Mojave Desert, resulting in unseasonably heavy rain and some flash flooding. The unusually humid conditions also led to patchy dense fog.
- Flash Flood and Heavy Snow in Nevada, January 5 to 7, 2016A series of three Pacific storms impacted the desert Southwest, bringing periods of heavy rain, heavy snow, and locally dense fog.
- Dense Fog in Nevada, December 4 to 6, 2019A Pacific storm system brought widespread rain and patchy dense fog on December 4. Patchy dense fog also formed on the 5th and 6th.
- Dense Fog in Nevada, January 16 to 31, 2005The first widespread significant fog event since 1993 plagued the region during the last two weeks of January. Fog lasted throughout the daytime hours in the vicinity of the Carson and Humbolt sinks and near Honey Lake.
- Heavy Snow and High Wind in Nevada, December 12 to 13, 2014Another storm system brought locally high winds, rain and snow, and patchy dense fog to the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin.
