- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Missouri, January 30 to 31, 2002A long-lived major ice and snow storm blasted much of northwest, northern and central Missouri from late Tuesday, January 29th, until Thursday, January 31st.
- Ice Storm and Winter Storm in Missouri, December 21 to 22, 2013Early on the morning of Saturday, December 21, 2013 an area of light to moderate rain moved northward into eastern Kansas and western Missouri. At the time of the rain surface temperatures were in the middle to upper 20s.
- Heavy Snow in Missouri, April 10 to 11, 1997Heavy wet snow fell across the Northern third of Missouri throughout the day on the 10th followed by a second band of snow during the early morning hours of the 11th.
- Heavy Snow in Missouri, January 8 to 9, 1997Six inches or more of snow fell over much southwest, south central and central Missouri from noon on the eighth to noon on the ninth. The heaviest snow fell in a band from Cassville to Springfield north to Hermitage where up to ten inches was recorded.
- Heavy Snow in Missouri, December 12 to 13, 2000A major winter storm dropped as much as 14 inches of snow across the Missouri Ozarks. The hardest hit areas were along I-44 from Joplin to Lebanon. In these areas, over a foot of snow was reported.

- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Missouri, January 24 to 25, 2023Widespread snowfall blanketed southeast Missouri during the night of the 24th into the early morning hours of the 25th. Heavy snowfall occurred in most areas except the Kentucky border counties of Mississippi and New Madrid.

Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico streamed into the region over a cold air mass. Accumulating snow was noted south of Kansas City to Kirksville line.
