• Drought in Michigan, July 1 to 31, 2001$150 million · 17 eventsAn upper level high pressure ridge dominated the weather pattern across southeast Michigan beginning late June and continuing through the month of July.
• Drought in Michigan, September 1 to 30, 200217 eventsThe month of September turned out to be like much of the summer of 2002 was, hot and dry. The dry weather was especially severe from the northern suburbs of Detroit to the Tri Cities and thumb.
