- Hurricane and Tornadoes in Louisiana, August 28 to 31, 2021The ninth named storm, fourth hurricane, and second major hurricane of the 2021 Atlantic hurricane season, Ida originated from a tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea on August 23rd.
- Hurricane and Storm Surge in Louisiana, August 28 to 31, 2012Isaac entered the Gulf of Mexico as a tropical storm on August 26, moving northwest after crossing Haiti, Cuba and the Florida Straits. Isaac strengthened into a hurricane on the morning of the 28th when it was 75 miles south-southeast of the mouth of the Mississippi River.

- Hurricane and Tornadoes in Louisiana, September 12 to 15, 2008Hurricane Ike caused wind damage, storm surge flooding, and tornadoes across southwest Louisiana. Ike made landfall near Galveston, TX early in the morning on September 13th as a strong category 2 hurricane.
- Storm Surge in Louisiana, August 29, 2005Storm surge damage in southeast Louisiana, especially in the New Orleans area and the coastal parishes, was catastrophic. Hurricane protection levees and floodwalls were overtopped and/or breached resulting in widespread and deep flooding of homes and businesses.
- Hurricane and Tropical Storm in Louisiana, September 11 to 12, 2024Hurricane Francine formed as a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico on September 9, 2024, and intensified into a Category 2 hurricane before making landfall near Houma, Louisiana, on the morning of September 11.

After the initial landfall, the cyclone moved back into the gulf a couple days later and then made another landfall in Southwest Louisiana during the morning of the 30th.

The surface low that developed moved southwest across the gulf then northwest into the south central Louisiana coast.
- Hurricane and Storm Surge in Louisiana, September 15 to 16, 2004Hurricane Ivan moved steadily northward across the north central Gulf of Mexico on September 15th before turning north-northeast and making landfall near Gulf Shores, Alabama as a Category 3 hurricane during the early morning of September 16th.

- Storm Surge in Louisiana, July 5 to 6, 2005Hurricane Cindy produced tides of generally 3 to 5 feet above normal which resulted in mainly minor damage. Significant beach erosion occured as a result of the high tides at Grand Isle.
- Tornado and Tropical Storm in Louisiana, October 9 to 10, 2004Tropical Storm Matthew developed from a tropical depression in the southwest Gulf of Mexico on October 8 and initially moved to the east northeast across the western and central Gulf of Mexico before gradually turning to the northeast and north.

It actually didn't attain tropical storm status until after it made landfall in Terrebonne Parish on the early morning of June 19th.
- Tropical Storm and Storm Surge in Louisiana, June 20 to 23, 2017Cindy made landfall between Cameron and Sabine Pass during the morning of the 22nd. Minor coastal flooding was reported along with minor wind damage.
- Tropical Storm and Storm Surge in Louisiana, September 22 to 23, 2004The remnant circulation of Hurricane Ivan moved back into the Gulf of Mexico and regenerated into a tropical storm late on September 22nd.
- Tropical Storm and Storm Surge in Louisiana, September 15 to 16, 2020Hurricane Sally initially formed as an area of disturbed weather over the Bahamas late on September 10th, 2020. Over the next few days, the system became better organized and became Tropical Depression Nineteen in the afternoon hours on September 11th.
