- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Louisiana, August 11 to 27, 2016A slow moving low pressure system brought widespread showers and thunderstorms to the area. The system tapped into deep tropical moisture resulting in very intense rainfall across a large portion of the area.
- Tornadoes and Flooding in Louisiana, December 24, 2009A powerful upper level storm system moved across the Southern Plains and Lower Mississippi Valley from Wednesday, December 23, 2009, through Thursday, December 24, 2009.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Louisiana, April 13, 2019A strong upper level trough entered the Southern Plains during the afternoon hours of April 12th, which allowed southerly low level winds to gradually return warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico north into East Texas and North Louisiana.
- Tornadoes and Storm Surge in Louisiana, August 26 to 31, 2017Harvey moved across the Gulf of Mexico into the central Texas Coast during the last week of August. After the initial landfall, the cyclone moved back into the gulf a couple days later and then made another landfall in Southwest Louisiana during the morning of the 30th.
- Tornadoes and Flood in Louisiana, May 15, 2008As a cold front approached, a squall line developed. Additional storms sprung up in front of the squall line, and where storms merged, a few tornadoes touched down. Along the squall line, winds of 60 mph blew down trees and caused minor damage to homes.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Louisiana, March 20 to 28, 2012A cold front slowly moved into Southeast Texas and then into far west sections of Louisiana during the 20th. The cold front stalled upon entering Louisiana and then slowly moved back west through the evening before finally moving east in the morning of the 21st.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Louisiana, January 8 to 27, 2013A stalled frontal boundary along with multiple impulses aloft lead to an extended duration of rain, thunderstorms, and even a couple tornadoes. Massive flooding occurred along the Mermentau River where rainfall totals exceeded one foot at some locations during the event.
- Flooding in Louisiana, August 14 to 31, 2016A area of low pressure slowly moved across South Louisiana during the 12th, 13th, and 14th. A widespread area of 6 inches or more fell across the region with some locations receiving more than 20 inches.
- Tornadoes and Flood in Louisiana, December 25 to 29, 2012A warm front lifted out of the Gulf of Mexico early Christmas morning with mostly small hail in storms along the boundary, however one storm did become severe.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Louisiana, March 8 to 9, 2011Thunderstorms in advance of a strong cold front produced numerous reports of flooding and severe weather on the afternoon of the 8th through the morning of the 9th.
- Flooding in Louisiana, March 10 to 24, 2016Heavy rain from the 9th and 10th pushed Toledo Bend Reservoir to a record high level. This forced the spillway gates to fully open.
- Flood and Hail in Louisiana, April 6 to 7, 2019Severe thunderstorms occurred as a complex of storms moved across the region. Some of these storms brought damaging winds, hail and flash flooding to the ArkLaMiss.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Louisiana, June 5 to 14, 2001Outer rainbands on the eastern periphery of the circulation of Tropical Storm Allison which moved slowly across southeast Texas affected southeast Louisiana beginning late on June 5th, producing heavy rainfall over much of southeast Louisiana.
- Flooding in Louisiana, May 6 to 31, 2011The flood of 2011 had its birth around the end of March when heavy rainfall of 2 to 5 inches fell across Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and the Ohio River Valley.
- Flooding in Louisiana, June 1 to 30, 2015Excessive heavy rainfall during the month of May resulted in very high river levels on the Red River which borders Caddo, Bossier, Red River, Natchitoches, Winn and Grant Parishes in Northwest Louisiana.
- Flooding in Louisiana, October 26 to 28, 2006Widespread showers and thunderstorms across southwest Louisiana resulted in widespread flooding late on October 26th, and continued through the 27th and 28th.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Louisiana, March 8 to 13, 2016As high pressure over the East Coast refused to move, a storm system approached the ArkLaMiss from the west and stalled just to the west of the region on March 7th.
- Flood in Louisiana, January 7, 1998LA 120 near Flora was barricaded due to flooding. A 72 year old male ran the barricades and continued for approximately one mile before his vehicle stalled in high water. He then left his vehicle and continued on foot until he disappeared according to witnesses.
- Flood in Louisiana, April 7, 2014Widespread flash flooding took place during the afternoon and evening hours of April 6th. While the flash flooding receded across the region overnight, ditches were still flooded the following day on April 7th.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Louisiana, May 8 to 9, 2019A strong upper level trough of low pressure extending from the Intermountain West into the Four Corners Region energized the southwest flow aloft across the Southern Plains during much of the day on May 8th, with a strong low level jet sustaining a mesoscale convective complex…
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Louisiana, March 10 to 15, 2016A closed upper low moved across the southern United States.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Louisiana, June 14 to 23, 2026Tropical Storm Arthur made landfall along the coast of southeast Texas and moved northeast across central Louisiana. Heavy rain trained across portions of central Louisiana creating widespread flooding and a new rainfall record.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Louisiana, June 8 to 13, 2001Remnants of Tropical Storm Allison moved across southeast Louisiana during the night of June 10/11th. The circulation system strengthened and produced torrential rainfall in many locations of extreme southeast Louisiana.
- Tornadoes and Storm Surge in Louisiana, October 16 to 23, 2006Under an environment of high wind shear and abundant moisture, severe storms produced tornadoes and flash floods across southwest Louisiana.
