- Hail and Damaging Winds in Kansas, July 1 to 4, 2000Dense fog contributed to two fatal accidents 10 miles west of Horton near the junction of U.S. Highway 75 and highway 20.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, December 31, 2004Dense fog covered a large area of east central Kansas, and contributed to two multi-vehicle accidents between Ottawa and Pomona that killed one person and injured 8 others.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, November 7 to 8, 2023During the morning hours of November 7th, dense fog covered much of central, south central and parts of southeast Kansas. Airport observations indicated visibility was less than 1/4 of a mile in all of these areas. A dense fog advisory was in effect during this time.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, December 14 to 15, 2024A combination of both advection fog and radiation fog led to reduced visibility across portions of south central and southeast Kansas starting in the evening hours of the 14th and lasting into the morning hours of the 15th.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, January 12, 2001Temperatures below freezing and dense fog combined to produce slick roads and poor visibility which resulted in a 1 vehicle accident 2.5 miles west of McClouth that killed the female driver.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, November 6, 2023Dense fog developed over much of central and south central Kansas on the morning of November 6th. Airport observations indicated visibility dropped to 1/4 of a mile at times. There were numerous vehicle accidents across the region with some injuries.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, February 26 to 27, 2011Extremely dense fog affected Sedgwick County from the late evening on the 26th through the morning on the 27th. Visibilities at times were near zero. Consequently, over 30 accidents occurred across the Wichita Metro between 5 am and noon on the 27th.

- Dense Fog in Kansas, December 7, 2002Dense fog developed over much of east central and parts of northeast Kansas early on the 7th. Visibilities were reduced to near zero in places for a time. But no vehicle accidents were reported.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, December 29, 2005Dense fog formed during the early morning and became widespread with visibilities reduced to only a few hundred yards in some areas. Several indirect injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle accident in Franklin county near Ottawa.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, August 25, 2007Fairly widespread dense fog developed across north central and central portions of Kansas during the morning hours of August 25th. Calm winds and an exceptionally moist boundary layer combined to promote fog development.

- Dense Fog in Kansas, May 3, 2007After light rain ended, dense fog formed with light winds and high humidity. The fog reduced visibilities below a quarter mile over a rather large area and created hazardous travel conditions.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, November 19, 2025During the morning dense fog was in place over Norton County. A crash involving two vehicles occurred due to the low visibility in the fog. One person sustained minor injuries.
- Dense Fog in Kansas, November 11 to 12, 2003Dense fog developed over the mentioned counties late in the evening of the 11th and continued to near dawn of the 12th. Visibility was reported as low as a few yards in some locations. There were no reported vehicle accidents from the fog.
