- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Kansas, March 27 to 28, 2009A late season winter storm of record breaking proportions struck central, south-central and southeast Kansas March 27-28, 2009. Heavy snow with blizzard conditions affected much of central and south-central Kansas, with accumulations exceeding 18 inches for some locations.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Kansas, January 4 to 5, 2025A powerful long duration winter storm moved into Kansas during the weekend of January 4th and 5th. The event started with freezing drizzle and drizzle; there were numerous slide offs across the state on the 4th.
- Blizzard in Kansas, March 7 to 8, 1998A snowstorm accompanied by blizzard conditions dumped 6 or more inches of snow northwest of the Kansas Turnpike. A swath of 10 or more inches fell along and north of a line from Holton in Jackson County to Belleville in Republic County.

- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Kansas, December 27, 2018A winter storm system brought wide spread precipitation to Northwest Kansas, beginning on the 26th. The precipitation began as rain then transitioned to snow during the night of the 26th. Winds became strong as the rain changed over to snow the night of the 26th.
- Blizzard in Kansas, February 24, 2007A low pressure system moved across the area bringing very strong surface winds and light to moderate snow. Blizzard conditions were reported over eastern Colorado and parts of northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska during the day.
- Blizzard and Winter Weather in Kansas, November 25, 2018A blizzard occurred across most of north central Kansas on this Saturday night and Sunday. Saturday afternoon, a narrow band of snow developed, in the shape of an arc, across Nebraska to near Denver. This band formed in the deformation zone of developing low pressure.
- Blizzard in Kansas, October 25 to 26, 1997Snowfall of 10 to 24 inches accompanied by 50 to 60 mph winds produced widespread blizzard conditions with near zero visibility and wind chills to 20 degrees below zero. It was the largest one day snowfall on record at the Goodland NWS office with 19.3 inches.
- Blizzard in Kansas, April 14 to 15, 2011An intense, slow-moving, winter-like storm moved across the Central High Plains on April 14-15. The storm produced a round of high winds with numerous gusts over 60 mph, in addition to wet, heavy snow.
- Blizzard in Kansas, November 27 to 28, 2005Winds of 40 to 60 mph combined with 2 to 7 inches of snow resulted in a blizzard which raged across parts of north central Kansas on November 27 and 28. In open country, "white out" conditions were reported throughout the event.
- Blizzard and Heavy Snow in Kansas, March 17 to 19, 2025A deepening low pressure system strengthens and moves out of the Rockies and strengthens quickly. As the system neared the forecast area, there was very strong mid-level winds and deep vertical mixing. This created very strong surface winds of 70+.
- Blizzard in Kansas, March 27 to 28, 2009A historic blizzard impacted much of southwest Kansas with record or near record snowfall recorded in some areas. There was a strip from southeast Clark county to Pratt county that had 28 to 31 inches of snow and 10 to 15 foot drifts.
- Blizzard in Kansas, November 28, 2005Winds of 40 to 60 mph combined with 2 to 5 inches of snow resulted in a blizzard which raged across parts of north central Kansas on November 28. In open country, "white out" conditions were reported throughout the event. Numerous highways were impassable during the storm.

- Blizzard and Winter Weather in Kansas, December 22, 2007An intense winter storm moved into western Kansas early Saturday morning, December 22nd. This storm brought snow to most of Dodge City’s CWA, with nearly every county reporting blizzard conditions during the day Saturday.
- Blizzard and Dust Storm in Kansas, March 3 to 4, 2025A strong weather system moved across Northwest Kansas causing a multitude of weather hazards across the area such as blizzard conditions, damaging winds, dust and a wildfire.

- Blizzard in Kansas, March 19 to 21, 2006A vigorous upper level storm system moved out of New Mexico late Saturday, March 18th, sending overrunning moisture northward into Kansas.
- Blizzard in Kansas, December 19 to 20, 2011A strong storm system moved northeast from New Mexico into Colorado Friday, December 2nd and into western Kansas Friday night.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Kansas, January 8 to 9, 2024A widespread area of snow moved over Northwest Kansas producing blizzard conditions up to eleven hours with gusts up to 60 mph and snow amounts ranging from two inches to twelve inches. The strongest wind gusts were reported in Sherman County with several gusts of 55 to 60 mph.
- Blizzard and High Wind in Kansas, February 20, 2012A strong low pressure system affected eastern Colorado, far northwest Kansas and parts of southwest Nebraska with strong winds during the day. Several counties also received one to three inches of snow, which made for near blizzard conditions when combined with the wind.
- Blizzard and Heavy Rain in Kansas, October 25 to 26, 1997A major late fall blizzard struck much of the area dumping from 10 to 20 inches of snow across the area. A strong north wind whipped the snow into 15 to 20 foot drifts. Most roads were impassable for several days after the snow ended.
