- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 24 to 25, 2014A strong storm system brought significant snowfall and difficult travel conditions to all of southeast Idaho over the Christmas holiday. Several traffic accidents occurred with two fatalities occurring on interstate 15 just south of Pocatello.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, April 15 to 16, 2002One day after thunderstorm winds caused extensive damage in southeast Idaho, a mid-April snowstorm dumped heavy wet snow over the same region. It was the heaviest snow of the season in the Snake River Plain.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Idaho, February 2 to 3, 2014A pair of shortwaves diving south from Canada dropped into the Inland Northwest between the second and third of February. The first wave generated light to moderate snow across the Idaho Panhandle driven by warm advection processes.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, January 15 to 18, 2005A large, and rather moist storm system moved up from the southwest from the tropics. This storm system dropped heavy snow to northern and central Idaho before raising snow levels to over 7000 feet by the evening of the 18th.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, November 27, 2004Widespread snow of generally between 2 and 5 inches fell in the Snake River Plain in the first significant snowfall of the season.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, April 10 to 13, 2022A very long period of extremely cold conditions for mid April and a continual push of Pacific moisture led to heavy mountain snowfall with snow levels down to valley floors. Interstate pile ups and a snow related fatal airplane crash all occuured during this period.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 14 to 16, 2009A strong warm front brought heavy snow to portions of North Idaho. Behind the warm front, shallow cold air remained in the valleys which resulted in a mixed bag of snow, freezing rain, and freezing drizzle with minor ice accumulations reported.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, January 18 to 19, 2017A major snow storm dumped heavy snow over most of Eastern Oregon and Southwest Idaho leading to snow emergencies in many locations.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Idaho, December 1 to 4, 2023An extended period of off and on snow for the first 4 days of December caused travel problems and widespread heavy snow.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, October 10 to 12, 2008Heavy snow affected much of southeast Idaho over the weekend period of October 10th through October 12th. The heaviest hit areas were the Eastern Magic Valley and southern highlands where snow amounts over a foot were common.
- Flash Flooding and Winter Storm in Idaho, February 2 to 28, 1999Heavy snow of 6-15" each day was reported across portions of north Idaho. Some of the sites included: Sandpoint, Potlatch, St. Maries, Kellogg and Winchester. The heavy snow caused hazardous driving conditions and several accidents on area roadways.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Idaho, November 13 to 15, 2020A moist Pacific storm brought very heavy snow to high elevations of southeast Idaho with many mountain locations receiving over a foot of snow. Low elevations of the Wood River Valley also received heavy snow. Road closures occurred in the Upper Snake Highlands.
- Avalanche and Heavy Snow in Idaho, January 27 to 30, 2021A very strong atmospheric river event brought very heavy snow to the southeast Idaho mountains and the Sun Valley region. Amounts of over 2 feet of snow were very common in the drawn out event.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Idaho, January 19 to 21, 2019Heavy snow fell in the Upper Snake River Highlands with snow on rain causing horrible travel in the Snake River Plain and Marsh and Arbon Highlands with one fatality reported on the roadways.
- Avalanche and Heavy Snow in Idaho, January 11, 2024A passing Arctic Front brought periods of heavy snow and low visibilities to the area to portions of the Eastern Washington.

- Avalanche and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 15 to 17, 2009A strong winter storm with a significant Pacific moisture tap moved into the Intermountain West spreading heavy, wet snow across parts of Southeast Oregon and Southwest Idaho on the 15th and 16th of December.

- Heavy Snow in Idaho, October 25, 2012Six to 12 inches of snow fell in the Upper Snake River Plain and Upper Snake River Highlands the morning of October 25th. Snow also fell the evening of the 25th in the Lower Snake River Plain causing a fatal traffic accident the morning of the 26th.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 7, 2013A deep, cold upper low tracked through Eastern Oregon and Southwest Idaho on the 7th leaving up to 6 inches of snow across the area.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 20, 1997During the night of December 20-21, one to 4 inches of snow fell across northern Idaho. One man died when his car slid off the road between St. Maries and Plummer.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Idaho, February 6 to 8, 2008On February 6-8, a persistant winter storm moved east across North Central Idaho and produced heavy snowfall and gusty winds in many locations.
- Heavy Snow in Idaho, November 16 to 21, 1996Ice Storm 96 began on Novemeber 16th with heavy snow falling in Northern Idaho. The morning of the 17th reports from Bonner County at 8 am included 20 inches new snow at Bonner's Ferry, with 5 inches additional on the 18th and 19 inches new at Naples with 6 new on the 18th.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Idaho, December 2 to 31, 1999Snow amounts of 4 to 12 inches were reported in the mountains of North Idaho, mainly above 3000 feet in elevations.
