- Dense Fog in Idaho, November 27, 2023Localized dense fog developed on interstate 86 just east of Pocatello to the Pocatello airport exit and a 30 vehicle crash occurred with multiple injuries and one death involved.
- Dense Fog in Idaho, December 21, 2023Dense fog contributed to several crashes on interstate 86 near mile marker 55 west of Pocatello. Nine crashes occurred in both the east and west bound lanes at around 930 AM and the interstate didn't re open until 345 PM.
- Flash Flood and Heavy Snow in Idaho, January 2 to 29, 1999Dense fog in the Lewiston valley lead to icy conditions along Highway 95 and one minor accident with no injuries.

- Dense Fog in Idaho, February 2, 1997Dense fog covered the eastern portion of the treasure valley. Visiblity was reported at less than 20 feet.
- Dense Fog in Idaho, December 29, 2001Locally dense fog and below freezing temperatures resulted in the formation of black ice on Highway 55 near Donnelly and also in Cascade, Idaho. An accident involving 14 vehicles closed the state highway for two hours between Lake Fork and Donnelly.
- Dense Fog in Idaho, October 25, 2012Calm winds and clear skies allowed very dense radational fog to form in portions of the lower Treasure Valley. Most visibilities were around 1.0 miles, but some reports of visibilities as low as 30 yards caused dangerous driving conditions.
- Dense Fog in Idaho, January 25, 2019Dense fog was partially responsible for a train ans SUV crash on US 20 near mile post 343 south of Saint Anthony. The vehicle failed to yield to a train. Several other vehicles went off the road. The accident caused the road to be backed up for miles.
- Dense Fog in Idaho, March 10, 2020Dense fog was determined the cause of a child rear ending the child's mother in a two car collision causing extensive damage. No injuries occurred with the accident occurring on Idaho Highway 33 near mile marker 45.
