Locally dense fog and below freezing temperatures resulted in the formation of black ice on Highway 55 near Donnelly and also in Cascade, Idaho. An accident involving 14 vehicles closed the state highway for two hours between Lake Fork and Donnelly. Four people injured in the pile-up were treated and released at the local hospital. There were several slide-offs in Cascade, but no injuries were reported.
