Blizzard in Alaska, December 29 to 30, 2001
A large and complex Low pressure system over the North Pacific south of Kodiak Island drifted northwest while strong High pressure over the Chukotsk Peninsula of Russia held it's place. This produced blizzard conditions at Cape Romanzof.
