- Dense Fog and Winter Weather in Delaware, December 19, 2004The combination of a weak high pressure system over the region and low level moisture left in place by a departing low pressure system to the east caused dense fog to form across Delaware shortly after midnight EST on the 19th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, December 13 to 15, 2006The combination of an unseasonably mild and moist air mass coupled with light overnight winds produced dense fog across Delaware during the night of the 13th and the morning of the 14th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, November 21, 1999
- Dense Fog in Delaware, November 21 to 22, 1999
- Dense Fog in Delaware, November 22 to 23, 1999
- Dense Fog in Delaware, November 23 to 24, 1999A nearly stationary high pressure system anchored over the nearby Atlantic brought Delaware dense fog for four days from the 21st through the 24th of November. Widespread visibilities of a quarter of a mile or less occurred. Dense fog first formed around daybreak on the 21st.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, February 22 to 23, 2003The combination of heavy rain, humid air moving over the snow pack and relatively light winds produced widespread dense fog across Delaware from the evening of the 22nd into the morning of the 23rd. Widespread visibilities were under one quarter of a mile.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, May 8 to 9, 2007An onshore flow caused by the combined efforts of a low pressure system off the Georgia coast and a high pressure system off the New Jersey coast advected dense fog into Delaware during the late evening of the 8th into the morning of the 9th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, October 4, 2007A large high pressure system that was over the Middle Atlantic States on the night of the 3rd and morning of the 4th helped produce widespread dense fog across Delaware during the morning of the 4th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, October 5 to 6, 2007A high pressure system that remained over the Delmarva Peninsula for the third consecutive morning caused widespread dense fog to form across the region. Dense fog formed in all areas around midnight EDT on the 6th and took until around 10 a.m. EDT to dissipate.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, January 28, 2009An area of low pressure developed across the Gulf Coasts states during the 27th. A warm front extended northeastward from this storm into the southern Mid Atlantic region.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, November 14 to 15, 2010An unseasonably moist air mass coupled with light winds helped form dense fog across Delaware from the evening of the 14th into the morning of the 15th. The most widespread and densest fog occurred just before sunrise on the 15th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, January 12 to 13, 2013Dense fog affected travel on both the mornings of the 12th and 13th in Delaware. The most widespread and greatest impact on traveling occurred on the morning of the 13th. The fog was caused by a relatively moist and stagnant flow over the region on that weekend.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, January 14 to 15, 2014A high pressure system over Delaware combined with moist conditions at the surface from the rain earlier in the day on the 14th to produce widespread dense fog across the state from the middle of the evening on the 14th through the middle of the morning on the 15th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, February 21, 2014The combination of a relatively moist air mass and light winds preceding a warm front produced widespread dense fog in Delaware on the 21st. In Kent and Sussex Counties, the dense fog occurred in the morning.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, November 4, 2022High pressure directly overhead provided in light winds, clear skies and a stagnating air mass, resulting in the development of dense fog across portions of Delaware early on November 4th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, October 25 to 26, 2022Moisture from rains on October 24th combined with a stagnant air mass and light winds helped result in widespread dense fog across portions of Delaware late on October 25th and early on October 26th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, January 26 to 27, 2024A stalled frontal boundary just south of the region resulted in stagnant, moist air across the area. Warm air lifted over the boundary facilitated the development of dense fog late on the 26th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, December 9 to 10, 2024Warm moist air advecting over a cold surface air mass resulted in widespread dense fog starting late on December 9th and continuing through much of the day December 10th.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, February 6, 2023A relatively warm and moist air mass moved northwestward from the Atlantic into portions of southern and central Delaware on the night of February 5th. As this air moved over the cooler land surface, areas of dense fog developed.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, October 6 to 7, 2023A moist low-level air flow ahead of an approaching cold front resulted in areas of dense fog early in the morning on October 7 2023.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, February 13, 2025A warm front attempting to lift northward across the area resulted in areas of dense fog starting early on February 13th. After dawn, the front began to retreat and the fog started to dissipate.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, February 20 to 21, 2026A moist air mass ahead of advancing low pressure resulted in widespread dense fog late on February 20th and early on February 21st. The fog dissipated before dawn.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, March 3 to 4, 2026A warm moist air mass moving over cold ground helped cause widespread fog to form late on March 3rd and early on March 4th. The fog dissipated by noon.
- Dense Fog in Delaware, April 10, 2026A warm and moist air mass moving northward into the region resulted in areas of dense fog before dawn on April 10th. The fog dissipated by mid morning.
