The strongest storms occurred late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, when large and damaging hail fell over parts of the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex.

The strongest storm resulted in hail up to the size of dimes.
• Hail in Iowa, June 6, 20181.25 in hail · 2 eventsA large line of severe thunderstorms moved over portions of central Iowa during the evening hours of June 6th, 2018. These thunderstorms brought damaging winds to a large area, but generally stayed west of eastern Iowa.
