A surface trough moved through North Dakota during the evening, with a few severe thunderstorms that occurred in northwest North Dakota. The largest hail report of ping pong ball sized hail was in Divide County. There were non-severe thunderstorms further south in Billings County near Fairfield, although there was a non-thunderstorm wind gust of 66 mph near Fairfield due to a heat burst. This caused the temperature to jump to 92 degrees.
